YTKO is delighted that over 230 women were able to enjoy the special events we ran last week around International Women’s Day (IWD) this year!
The taster sessions were organised by teams across a range of programmes including Accelerating Women’s Enterprise, Enterprising Women, Building Growth South West, Outset and GetSet for Growth
Ranging from yoga to mindfulness, PR to photography, the sessions were delivered by previous clients from the programmes and brought together women from across the South West of England via Zoom. The events included the launch of Get Social, a new networking group in Bristol for women and a special celebratory toast event on the actual day of IWD 2021.
Liz Ratcliffe, General Manager of Outset CIC, who delivers the Accelerating Women’s Enterprise (AWE) programme said, “It was fantastic that so many women came together to participate in the sessions which demonstrated just a selection of the wide range of business run by female entrepreneurs that we support through the AWE programme. The aim of AWE is to increase the confidence and skills of women starting and running businesses and these sessions were a great chance for women to come together in a supportive environment.”
YTKO has a strong history of providing support to female entrepreneurs with 51% of clients being women. Support is provided in the form of training workshops, face to face advice, mentoring and online learning, all developed specifically for women, by women.
