Like all businesses, our clients are our most valuable and important community. YTKO has helped over 7,000 entrepreneurs start sustainable new business, and over 22,000 established businesses to grow – and that’s just in our publicly funded work! Our commercial clients also come to us from across the UK, from a similarly wide range of sectors, seeking practical consultancy support to scale their companies, from small established businesses in the earlier days of their growth journey, through equity backed high growth potential start-ups to £multi-million pound turnover businesses.
We help our clients grow their businesses successfully through, for example, developing effective strategies and tactics, including practical implementation, to find more, and more profitable customers, faster and for less cost, enter new markets, manage their working capital, become investment ready, access growth finance, increase their productivity, manage change and risk, and develop their leadership and management skills.
Businesses located in areas served by our publicly-funded GetSet for Growth programmes are fortunate enough to be able to access this professional support for free!
The last 500 clients we’ve worked with reported an average increase in turnover of 64% within the following year. In our public programmes alone, clients have grown headcount by more than 10,000 new jobs for the UK economy. We’ve raised over £70m in growth finance and have a 96% success rate – even through two recessions.
We think these few examples of our impact is because everything we do is based on over 40 years of real world, first hand experience of successful growth.
And finally, we’re really proud that 51% of our clients are women, and 20% are Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME), reinforcing YTKO’s position at the forefront of of driving a more inclusive business environment.

My best decision by far was to contact Outset. They have helped me with business advice, from accounting to website design.
