As part of our social mission, YTKO have successfully delivered over £50m of programmes to our public funders on a non-profit basis, mostly as the sole contractor, but sometimes as Lead Accountable Body for consortia.
Most of this funding has come from European Structural Investment Funds (ERDF, ESF, Interreg, CLLD), which have been matched by a wide range of UK county councils, combined and city authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships, and their predecessors, the Regional Development Agencies.
They include several London boroughs, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Dorset, Gloucester, Worcester, Southampton, Portsmouth, Swindon, Wiltshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Black Country, Greater Birmingham, Solihull, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, West Sussex, East Sussex and East Surrey.
European contracts are managed by the Ministry for Communities, Housing and Local Government (MHCLG). In addition, we’ve also delivered a major Regional Growth Fund contract for the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), as well as other bodies such as Innovate UK and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
We’ve also been fortunate to receive funds to deliver start-up or business support projects for a range of financial institutions, some of whom are long term partners, and grants via the Outset Foundation charity. These include JP Morgan, Natwest, C Hoare & Co, HSBC and Santander.
Outset Bristol is a perfect example of how European funding can be targeted exactly where it is needed in difficult economic times: job creation
