YTKO was funded by the London Borough of Havering and the Mayor of London to deliver the Havering Business Growth Programme, to helps SMEs strengthen their business and marketing strategies in order to generate more money from more customers and help secure finance to invest in their growth.
The programme was open to Individuals looking to start a business and so SME businesses employing fewer than 50 people, with a turnover of less than £10 million and trading for less than 6 years.
GetSet For Growth, working with the London Borough of Havering supported over 100 businesses through this programme, delivering a series of events and workshops, providing training in social media, marketing and branding, accessing finance and business strategy. All clients were also taken through a business diagnostic and were supported with 1:2:1 mentoring from GetSet business advisors.
Clients were also given free access to GrowSmart, the interactive platform which assists clients in building their business growth plans, and provides a large library of articles and guides to help businesses on articles including sales, marketing, procurement, HR and financial planning.
